Thanks for the "welcomes". I have found through reading and the search function allot of great "general" reading and information.
Here is a couple of questions I will have, even though I dont pick up the Cyclone until Friday (out of town working)
1st. As far as "dry camping"- I want to take the trailer Elk hunting this year, kind of a test run. I dont want to run the Onan all the time, so looking at ideas "been there done that" thoughts.
It is an Onan 5500 gold with 7.8 hrs. I dont know how well these are as far as longevity, only use for temp power, or am I good to go. Not sure in this application how many hours are "to many"
BTW, plan on using the "woods" for an outhouse, to conserve the black water holding volume if possible.
See fella's, told you I am a "newbie" LOL
Also it's a 33' and I haven't been able to find jack as far as this particular model (have not tried Heartland yet though), 1 slide. Insurance and Navy Fed credit Union say it was 54k+ when new, retail now 39k. I paid 24k, did I get screwed?? Dealer said it is "wholesale" and used only a couple of times, so we feel real good about it so far. In pristine condition as far as Looks.
Also came with the whole, Sway bar adjustable system (they aid that was worth 1k??)
Can I post photo when I get it, or is that frowned on? (yes, I feel like a proud father again, even though I have grand kids LOL)
