My favorite key points:
We have 4WD for other reasons- we have never really needed it for camping (not that folks don't sometimes use 4WD for camping / muddy site / etc.)
It's an expensive option except for the rare occasion that it saves the day.
It can also be useful to get more stuck.
It is an extremely popular option and will likely increase the re sale value of the TV.
