Kind of weird. Only on the truck forums do people say get a 4x. Lots of MH's out there camping and having a great time with no 4x. I've never seen a MH stuck or even a truck and TT stuck for that matter. I must camp at the right time of year or camp in the right places?
For me it's simple. If you go off road a lot or live where it snows a lot get a 4x. If you don't.............well.......don't. :)
