42" TV in 84 class C RV

Hi all, finally found me a small RV I can afford. I don't know what kind of power load one of these will handle and I'm looking for a new tv. The RV is an 84 mini winnie. Just got it today and will be hooking it up on Monday. Don't know how many things I can plug up safely. Looking at a 42" vizio and bluray player. Any help appreciated.

  • If you are hooked up to shore power no worries. If you are hoping to run that Tele off your battery it may with the right power converter but not for long.

YeH, definitely hooked up to power at an RV park.
  • My Magnavox 42" LED LCD draws 33 watts in standard mode, it's easily done with a small inverter.
  • Probably 42" is too big for a small rv. Measure the viewing distance from the TV and ask the sales person what the optimal viewing distance is for your measurement.

You can probably find the optimal distance for the TV size on the internet too.
