I try to keep the weight down so I carry few tools. For example, I have found my truck jack works just fine on the trailer so scratch that one. I do carry:
A wheel wrench
A multi-tool which has pliers on it.
A multi driver
An allen wrench to fit the *#!!** kitchen tap handle which always loosens.
A large pair of vice grips (never used them but have loaned them)
Teflon tape for those persistent leaky hose connections.
Duct tape and electrical tape.
A tire pump and gauge
A couple of spare light bulbs for the trailer external lights.(never used them)
A bit of emery paper for roughing up the battery terminals if needed.
A small LED flashlight.
A small tube of sealant for any leaking seams (never used it yet)
A can of silicon spray for squeaks or noisy jacks.
A can of spray grease for the hitch pin.
That is about it!
