I did laugh about the GPS... I don't trust those AT ALL. I love using them in addition to my map book, it is great when they warn of upcoming turns. It is fun to keep the GPS on as you approach your home and you know the roads - the GPS almost every time will want to take you on some crazy route.
What's sad is that I really should have listened to my wife- we've made the trip out that way a few times now and knew the GPS was guiding us wrong. She tried to warn me, but I talked her out of it. (sarcasm: yay me)
