aarp supplement plans

They suck. Here in New Jersey and cannot find doctors or physical therapist within 100 miles. Salesmen are stupid.
  • Has nothing to do with Medicare supplement plans.

With all the news about "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" over the last 4 years you didn't check if your doctor accepted that plan before you signed up?

I work with a young lady who used to be involved in the insurance rackewt, and yes, it is a racket.. You need to look at those AARP plans very very closely, Be sure to read the fine print.

Many folks got plans and found out they did not cover Prescriptions at all.
  • If you're talking about Medicare supplements and travel, you need a PPO supplement where you can go to any doctor you choose. In 16 years of full-timing and traveling constantly, we never has an issue with our PPO supplement.
  • Salesmen are not stupid. In some cases a little shady maybe. They are paid to sell policies, and they do. Good knowledge of those policies is secondary to their profession.

    It is buyer beware.

Per profile, they're from indiana. The post states they are in new jersey. Different regions often do not support others coverage.
