You mentioned that you already have a trailer that you pull the band equipment in but I didn't see any mention of the existing tow vehicle. When my friend started out with the bands on the road they ran out of Ford Econoline E350 15 passenger van which they removed it to rear benches and put a large mattress. That gave them to front bucket seats and a second row bench seat. They stayed in cheap motels when they could and in the van when necessary. One thing to keep in mind is having a vehicle both easy to work on and cheap and available parts and I think the Econoline fits that bill.
