Add wouldn't come up for me, but I think you could find a decent RV IF you are handy and mechanically inclined. If not, then you will be wasting your $ paying someone to fix stuff on it.
When looking at MHs I would prioritize in this order. 1. Drivetrain. 2. Tires/brakes. 3. Leaks. 4. Everything else related to living in it.
Many things in the "home" portion of the motorhome can go wrong and it's still live able. Any goes wrong with the "motor" part of it and you're not going anywhere.
