Being retired and cheap I have the time and the need to see that I get the most for my dollar. Go to Camping World and make a list of the items you want/need, note their prices and then leave without buying anything. Sit down at your computer and spend the time to comparison shop. Google what you are looking for or just go to Amazon. A trip to the RV section at Walmart may be in order as well. Bottom line, the best price for a quality product is where my $$$ goes.... every time.
I have been following this method for years and consistently save money by shopping on line. CW will have sales and specials occasionally which get the price down but that is the exception to the rule. The biggest advantage of actually shopping at CW is they do have a good selection and are often the only place you can actually lay hands on an item. Cabella's and Sportsman's Warehouse are two additional sources for camping gear. Good luck!
