I had a salesman convince my wife that our Van would pull a trailer just fine. We even hooked up and pulled on a nice flat highway so we bought the trailer over my objections. On the way home we ran into some wind and gentle hills. I was on an interstate and could only manage 55 mph. We upgrade to a F-350 and our first trip my wife mentioned how comfortable it was to pull and she even thought she could drive on the highway because it's so easy. Numbers are not all you want to look at when deciding. Do you want a truck to work at it's maximum and you have to work at driving or by a bit bigger truck and you can enjoy the trip.
