A 30 or 35ft Class C is probably too big for grocery shopping or visiting the local sights.
I'm thinking I would park at the RV site, then use a small car or jeep for local driving.
My setup for my last trip was 53' long, absolutely no problem getting groceries, just park at the edge of the lot. Now sight seeing can be a different story, was definitely glad we could drop the trailer and get back to 33' (with the hitch and bike rack being smaller than a solid RV).
