My brother told me of a young man back in his (Brother's) high school days, A friend of his, took the poor salesman on a 300 mile test drive when he bought his new car.. Finally getting back to the dealership it made it all worth the salesman's while (I like the car, I want this color and these options, where do I sign)
Finally he gets the call "your car is ready" Heads in, hands over the keys on his trade in and heads home (30 miles about) with his brand new car....
About 5 miles out another driver blows a stop sign and T-Bones him.
He is sitting in the driver's seat, Trying hard to breath which is not easy under the conditions,, The other driver asks if he is OK, He indicates he is.
But he still can't talk
The other driver finally asks what the problem is and he just points to the odometer....Which still has but a single digit on it.
The at-fault sits down and cries.
Eventually the young man recovered his breath (The problem was he was laughing so hard he could not breath) and found a farm house to call the police from.
Oh, and the dealer to request another new car.
