Any Brits out there Touring this year in an RV

Hi There follow Rvers

We are just about to hit the road again for another tour around the states.
Would be nice to meet up with some others Brits like us, to chat around a campfire.
We are heading to Colorado in few days and will be out west side
Oregon, CA, and down to Las Vegas for late August for 2 weeks . Then we head East to New England for Fall for Sept and Oct and back to here (Louisiana) for end of October.
Switch out our 5th wheel for our truck camper and then head south in to Mexico and Central America for Winter.

Would be nice to hear from anyone, in the 10 years we have been Rving over here we hardly ever bump in to any other home folk from across the pond as you say over here.

Safe travels

  • Oh no the British are coming the British are coming. 1 if by land and 2 if by sea. Sorry I couldn't resist. Just a little gum-rummy. We are leaving for 5 weeks tomorrow to see 10 western states, have fun, visit family, Disneyland, Grand Canyon, 4th of July in Texas (they say everything is bigger in Texas), Utah to visit family and go on a cattle drive (I don't know about that part - I'm a city slicker), then up through Salt Lake City to Montana to Spokane to visit family and my best friend and go camping. Spent about 9 months planning the great summer vacation. I hope to meet some Brits.
  • DW and I are ex-pat Brits, originally from Leyland (Lancs.) We emigrated in mid-1968 after I got a job with Boeing. we've been in Washington state for all but three years we spent in Tidewater VA (Hampton/Newport News) during my job with a NASA Contractor.

I took early retirement in 1998 and we moved up to Anacortes the following year. We're quite a way off your planned route. We did the Oregon Coast in late May and we'll be staying around for a visit from son, daughter-in-law and youngest grand-daughter (2 y-o in November) who live in suburban Tokyo. Maybe a couple of short trips locally, before they arrive in mid-August, then perhaps a longer one after the rug-rats are back in school after Labor Day.
