Wow, it's amazing how seemingly few people understand this stuff.
If you remove the cause of the odour, the odour does NOT come back, in the case of a musty, mouldy smell that's easy.
The smell from a greasy kitchen fire is both nasty and pervasive, it travels through the whole house and the greasy, smudge nature of the smoke gives it real staying power.
They don't burn down the house, they clean it and remove the odour. If they can do it in a house, they can do it an RV.
