Anyone Else Long-Range Planning to Go Fulltime?

define long range. 2 years? 10 years?
we planned for 4 years while we traveled part time. Took early retirement, sold house right away, sold, donated or trashed most of household goods, moved back to home state, traded gasser for DP. One thing to consider in planning are parents ages and health. Many people have to postpone going full time to help care for parents. So the plan has to be flexible. We didn't just have a plan, we worked the plan for the years prior to becoming full timers. We found it less stressful that way.
