Wow tough deal on the accident. 2 words. People suck! Hope there's a special place for the a hole that did that to you. What did he throw?
Anyway.
Deals are fewer right now due to the good economy. Trucks in particular with cheap fuel now as well. Just gotta search.
Personally I think the PNW is one of the better locations to source both, if you're looking for older iron. Wet side of the states, lots of weekend warriors and due to the rain, a greater number of rvs are stored under cover or in a shop than other areas I've lived.
Same with vehicles. I think the wet side of the PNW is as easy on vehicles in general as anywhere in the country. Very little rust and sun damage here comparitively speaking and being wet most of the year is just a little easier on vehicles drive trains.
