@ murph, Thankx. I'd never heard of VRBO before. I'll give them a look see.
@Tach, highly unlikely, he was too young to be anyone I would have run across back then. More likely one of the 99% w/ an issue w/ cops in general. Watch the news: It's open season on cops now. And evidently on those of us who look too much like one.
My advice: If you have that old school / hard core mil/po look about you then do what I'm doing and get a little shaggy.
Also, for anybody reading this: You can't get a train to vegas. Amtrak will sell you a ticket to vegas. But, what the don't tell you is that the last 150 miles is by bus.
The wife found a one way van at enterprise so we can load our junk and take it with. She can't drive a box truck. They freak her out b/c she doesn't have a rear view mirror. So it's been a challenge finding transport b/c I can't drive right now b/c I can't turn my head in the C-collar.
We plan on hitting the road tomorrow.
