Regarding your vehicle, i think you'd be better served by not buying it.
im not sure how to explain it, but re read your last post and tell me if that's the type of vehicle you were after and if it sounds like a sound decision to have a vehicle that is marginal for long distance towing and very complicated/expensive to repair. With a weird history. What's it need re painted for? Too long a story to make it sound like a good truck at least form what you wrote.
