Only a southerner (we call em Hillbillies) would actually know the difference between a hot dog and a brat.
So you are saying that only Southerners, (You don't know what a Hillbilly is) are smart enough to tell the difference between a Hot Dog and a Brat? You are prolly right. And thanks for the compliment. :B. It's pretty sad y'all wouldn't know. :B:S
Ahhh yes, but the Rednecks know how to cook them at a CG. :W - sayoungExplorerTx state parks are "no display of alcoholic beverage".
"Red SOLO cups" are a required camping tool. - EscargotExplorerCalifornia State Parks:
THE POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED IN ALL DAY USE. Alcohol is only allowed in your overnight camp site and you may consume alcohol from a vessel. Please designate drivers both on the road and on your boat. Law Enforcment Rangers arrest an average of 50 visitors a year for drunk driving. Please be smart and safe.

Wow, i had no idea so many different state park campgrounds banned alcohol!
Me too! Have never been to a state, federal, or private campground that has banned alcohol. Guess I'll have to keep camping in the southwest :) - pappcamExplorerUp here where I'm from the provincial parks have an alcohol ban in place for the May long weekend and that's it. Other times you can drink but you can't walk around with it.
I assume some privately owned campgrounds may have a no alcohol rule but I've never stayed at one and I assume I never will.
Drinking a beer while sitting in front of a campfire is the definition of camping to me. - bsinmichExplorerWe have a private CG her in Holland where the owners are Christian Reformed and don't believe in drinking. No alcohol allowed in their CG.
- VeebyesExplorer IIThe rule is a big stick that the CG has. Whether they use it or not is totally up to the camper. Get hot loud & rowdy & they use the stick. Be quiet & civil & you can drink at your site till you pass out.
Easy. - TerryallanExplorer II

Ha, illegal to drink beer or grill food while camping?
I don't even know what to say.......
Can't say I've ever even heard of such a thing! Maybe never read the signs??
No beer....that's funny!
The signs say No Alcohol. Does beer have alcohol in it? If so. It's against "Most" campground rules
And "most" campgrounds aren`t going to know I have a beer!
Agree, But that wasn't the post.
