When we bought our used 24' Class C for $47K 3.5 years ago{traded in the TT and sold my truck}, we put $18K down and financed the rest at 4.99 per cent. Since most of our income is derived from my brides retirement she was the primary borrower. Having this loan has bumped her credit score up into the 800's where mine already was. If anything happens to me she is left with excellent credit
The loan was for 15 years but we will have it paid off in less than 7 as we do principle reductions on a regular basis which is like finding a 4.99 per cent CD {try that in this market}. The payments are small {$270 a month}, and we get to use it now - 34,000 miles in just over 3 years. Life is good.
