For versatility and mobility, it's hard to beat a truck camper. They come in pop-ups and hard sided w/slide(s). All the important features making an RV self contained are configured and placed in the bed of a pick-up truck. They fit wherever the truck goes, height considering. They can be off-loaded at a campground in 10-15 minutes using remote control electric jacks, thus freeing up the truck for other duties, such as sightseeing or a daily driver. For two or three people, there's adequate room... not so much for a growing family camping with their 2 medium sized dogs.:B
