best way to sell

OP: Just saying 'I want this closed down probably won't do it'. You'll need to go to the opening page of the 'Beginning RVing' forum and on the right side on the top is a link to click on for the Moderator, in this case, LLEOPOLD. Hope this works for you.

I agree, it's not necessary to make snide remarks and condescending statements when replying in a post.

I'd put it on Craigslist and RV trader last week. Get it out there. It's the right time of year.
Regarding CW and service, idk if that's a reason to not like the lifestyle. Unless you're bound by a shop to do everything for you and don't like loss of use of your rig.
Understandable and I find service work by anyone other than myself to be frustrating most of the time. I can feel the frustration. Some businesses s uck.

I agree with WRPO about the fact of maybe the parts were not in and the rig was left. We have taken ours in and there was some time of parts getting in. Things didn't affect us going camping and we went and picked up our rig at the dealer (CW). As for the 6 week prep time, I'm confused on that also. Whenever we bought our units (were on the lot), we didn't sign the paperwork until the day we did the PDI. Perhaps things were wrong with the OP's rig that needed to be fixed? I guess that could cause some delay, but not to "prep" it.

Which CW was this? Sounds like it might of been the one on Highway 544 (Dick Pond Rd) in Myrtle Beach. Their service department does suck.

You might try the original selling dealer. Even though you've had issues with them, they may have a customer in mind that is looking for a slightly used rig.

Good luck on the sale. As with most of these luxury items, getting as much observation as possible typically makes sales faster.

One thing for sure is that you are far from being alone. You don't have to spend much time on here, or any other RV forum, to find people who are never happy with whatever they bought & roll it over, at great loss, after a couple of years for something else.

It is the same with boat owners. People take a loss of tens of thousands over & over without complaint, yet moan when the price of gas goes up a nickle.

Again, WesternRVParkOwner is responsible for his own comments, has nothing to do with me, I made no such comments about "making up a story" ... time you get your own story straight. :S I in fact even suggested you at least give it a go with this new rig of yours, who knows maybe in time you will grow to enjoy this sport, otherwise you have to know you're going to take a HUGE bath on selling it. Regardless, good luck with wherever you end up with this. :)
