We have used this Swagman rack on the back of the fiver for five years. Been from IL to AZ to FL to NY and points in between and has stood up very well.
With a different mounting arm (to lift it higher) we also use it on the smart car hitch for local travel.
X2 on this Swagman. We have ours mounted on the front of our truck. Bikes do not move at all. Very solid and has held up great even after hitting if on the pavement while exiting some steep driveways.
x3 on the swagman. I am an avid cyclist, I have worked in bike shops selling expensive racks, (Saris, Thule etc) And the swagman is awesome. It is so easy to use, nothing rubs the paint, the bikes don't swing or move at all and there are no Velcro or rubber straps. It's just a great design and the materials seem to be holding up well after a year and about 30k miles.
