I suspect the panel you found that has switches and fuses is the right place to be at. The switches you mentioned are probably circuit breakers for your 120VAC items and the fuses should all be for your 12VDC items...
Operate each SWITCH ON and OFF and see if one of them may be in a slightly OFF-SET position. Sometimes when you operate a circuit breaker OFF you can can move it a little farther which RESETS the breakers.
good luck tracking down everything. Its always a good idea to learn all of these things sitting at your house driveway as in my case when something strange happens it will most likely happen when I am 20 miles down a winding cow path out of cell phone range...
