HA! Got held up at that crossing one time for almost an hour. Same thing, into Hyder for a quick look around & out.
Well, the Canadian scanner would not read my passport. Their scanners read it just fine entering at Sweetgrass, AB then again coming out of Haines, & yet again re entering from Alaska.
The stamps were there proving our entry multiple times. We waved to these guys when we entered Hyder. How do you get to Hyder without coming OUT of Canada?
SHEESH! That was one of the better crossings.
