While living in Temecula, California, we decided we wanted a specific interior & exterior color for our new 2012 Winnebago. We could not find the combination anywhere in the southwest. My wife found it (using the Internet) at the Camping World in Savannah, Georgia. We got a great price, including our trade-in. Had the coach delivered to CW Bakersfield. We had visited there lot, liked what we saw, but none of their colors worked for my wife. Upon delivery, we found them to be not happy with our decision. Point blank I was asked why I didn't take one from their inventory. The walk thru, was brief. Since it was our third coach, I really didn't need much. I was extremely irritated to find the 80 gallon tank to be virtually empty. When I brought this to their attention I was told that it had enough to get to a gas station. Part of the reason we purchased through CW was because I knew they were nationwide and we were going full time. We were told that our local CW, in San Marcos, could handle all the warranty work. When the time came, we were told that because a Winnebago dealership was within a certain distance of that CW, we had to use that dealer. A dealer I had chosen not to deal with because of disappointing service on our previous coach. We have had various things done to this & our previous coach at various CW's. Some have done a good job for us - Bakersfield & ReddIng. Others not so much. My one attempt to use the suggested local Winnebago dealership in the San Diego area was not good. When in So Cal, we now use Redlands Truck & RV for everything. They are affiliated with All Wheel Alignment in Redding, whom we have also used. Both are great! If you live within a reasonable distance of Redding, wherever you buy your coach, get it serviced there. (We have also had great luck with mobile RV techs for the little unexpected problems that come up.).
