Family size? Budget? Full hookups, dry camping? You’ve rented MHs to determine size, style? - DevocamperExplorerYour going to have to give a little more info, like are you shopping diesel or gas , new used , what size are you thinking about ? Full time or a few times a year ?
- K_CharlesExplorerOne you can afford.
- jdc1Explorer IILook for one your wife wants. This will save you tens of thousands of dollars in alimony payments.
- jmcmackExploreryoung family of 6 on tight budget. They are currently looking at a NEW Jayco 27N class C. Chevy. I like the class C because of the built in Sun Visor.
- bsinmichExplorerI have had 7 motorhomes over the years and only 1 was new. If you decide you want a different one (larger)you will take a big financial beating. There are many 1-2 year old units out there that somebody is selling because it was the wrong size or something else. Many of these are overpriced because people financed them and can't afford to sell them because they owe more than they are worth. I
started in 1969 with a TT and have campers, and 7 motorhomes from a 21' class C to 38' Mountain Aire. - jmcmackExplorerThank you.
- midnightsadieExplorer IIwhat ever you do, STOP,THINK, what your doing before you buy, don,t let a sales person talk you into dept. you can,t afford. thers some great used rv,s out there just keep looking.
- buckyExplorer IITight budgets and motor homes aren't a good pairing. Unless these are your children and grand children stay out of it.
- IAMICHABODExplorer IIWelcome to the Forum, hopefully you will get some good input on your quest for that RV,
Mine would be that the one you are looking at may be very well suited for your family.
As a plus it is built on a Chevy Chassis that will give you more comfort all around.
Good luck in your search.
