Buying a TT, Bunk "Room" vs Bathroom door to outside

Our plan is to get the best of both worlds. An enclosed room bunk house plus a bath and a 1/2. That way, they get their own space, their own bathroom with outside access for all, and I don't have to walk through the trailer to use the bathroom. That obviously results in more length and weight, but that's our plan. We went to a RV show the other day and pretty much confirmed that's the way we want to go. I hope to see 1 in person at the RV show in Harrisburg next month.
