As mentioned, a dealer may or may not offer a warranty. And, a dealer can assist with financing. The dealer may clean the unit a little better than a private individual.
The private seller will know how to work the systems in the TT.
A dealer salesperson may or may not know how to work everything.
To me, there is no reason to buy from a dealer unless they have something I really want. If a private seller can offer the same unit for less money, I'll buy where I get the best deal.
If you read the forum you will know there are people who bought new units with a warranty and are having difficulty getting repairs made by the selling dealership. Just because a unit is new does not mean it has no problems.
If you are satisfied with a deal from a private individual, buy the TT and save some money. JMO
