NO on all of it--especially GAP! It may just be the most over priced of the bunch. Uness OP is paying list price instead of getting 25 - 30% discount or financing for 240 months, the gap is going to be minimal. Insurance companies often offer GAP for FAR less premium. And, total losses are rare. In, fact most experience no insurance claim at all--otherwise premiums would be way higher. Unless it has changed lately, most appliances have their own 2 year warranty. If it is going to fail, most likely it will be in 2 years.
