Cable

We cary two sections of 50' each and a cable union. We have satellite and you never know where you will have to put your dish.

I believe it is R6 coax.

If your campground has a cable TV hookup, it's usually somewhere on the power post. I have enough cable to go from the trailer connection and extend about 5 ft beyond either end of the RV.

I suggest the at least the length of the coach.

Usually only cable tv techs have to worry about signal losses. Even if you have to use 100' of it the loss difference between rg-6 and rg-59 is negligible. (4.14 db per 100' vs. 6.00 for '59) @ 850 mhz.

Usually 25 or 50 feet of cable works for my dish. Had a spot the last 3 months where I had to use about 230' of cable.

I carry TWO 25' lengths of RG6, a splitter in case I have to share a connection and a barrel connector (double female) and a double male connector.

Plus ONE 10' for hooking up an X array TV antenna in areas where the Batwing antenna doesn't pull in channels
