Yes - IF you get water out of a hot water faucet. Also - if you are hooked up to the cg water supply it keeps your water heater tank full automatically.
True as long as the tank bypass is in the tank use position.
Yep - you'll want to have a look at the bypass. Assuming that's correct, then using hot water from either the tank or water hook up will fill the tank.
As a side note, I always fill the water heater from the water hookup. I don't like running my pump for what seems like forever to fill the tank.
