All the info that has been posted is correct. But there has been an upgrade probably made by the previous owner, that upgrade is a good one and it the addition of 2 green LED lights that indicate that the switch is indeed in the ON position when it is lit. In your photo the green LED that is ON indicates that the electric switch is ON, The other green LED is for the propane switch and it is off so the propane switch is OFF. Now just because the electric switch is ON doesn't mean it is now running on 110 V AC, you still have to be plugged into shore power or be running the generator for it to work. So turn on your hot water faucet and if you get a steady stream of water the heater should be full. If you get a spurt of air leave it run until you get a steady stream of water. This is (If the bypass valve is in the correct position)
