Can I charge the house battery with a generator in an hour

Wow. So many responses. Thank you. First, i had to replace the part of my power system because it was over heating and not charging properly. So the 12v portion and transformer were replaced. But not a total swap out.

I think I will buy another 1 or 2 marine batteries and hook them all together. Why would you suggest 6 volt golf cart batteries
