Can I use travel trailer while still coupled to tow vehicle?

We're looking to hit the open road with our travel trailer. Is it okay to spend the night in our travel trailer while still hooked up to the truck? I'm thinking in terms of random stops for 6-8 hou...

Not a concern...been doing it for years...just put a block under hitch jack and lift a bit to take some pressure off WD bars....this will also make the trailer more stable while moving about in it......
