Not a concern...been doing it for years...just put a block under hitch jack and lift a bit to take some pressure off WD bars....this will also make the trailer more stable while moving about in it......
Likewise, we have been doing this for many years. However, not all stops are equal in finding a level place. Most will not be level enough for a ammonia fridge to run right. I will use blocks to drive upon to level side to side; hitch jack to level the front to back if the rear is high. Only time might need to unhitch is if can't change position of TT to not having the front too high.

The Scamp setup for a night still coupled to the tow.

Likewise, set up for overnighting in Walmart parking lots, still coupled.
Our Ford F-150 has an isolator, the relay control to switched OFF when ignition key is off, but I often unhook to just be sure. An old habit and a hedge for Murphy's Law.
It has been many years since I had a weight distribution hitch. And have just gotten the new TT & having done this yet with it. Before I only had the anti-sway bar.
I might relieve the pressure on the WDH when I do, mine isn't too hard to do, only 4 links to level it.
