Honda has a good service network, should it need it and the generator has one unique feature that makes me consider them, A real live fuel pump. (That said I'm not really in the market).
Yahama's (per them) are slightly better built.. But I do not know how much better.
Some of the Made in China jobs have had issues. but that was mostly in the past.
If you do not use it often (other than the monthly test) I woudl recommend most any of 'em.. But do keep a plug in voltmeter handy and before you plug in anything else, check the output.
