Comfy is subjective.
I am more comfortable, for a longer time, in a straight-back dining chair or a good desk chair, than in any soft chair or recliner. But I can't sleep in it, as I can in a recliner. Thus I might be inclined to look at the style known here as Euro recliner rather than a well-stuffed Lazy Boy. Euro recliners don't take up much more room than an office chair.
