We have a two seat dinette.
There were straight backed chairs with padded seats in it when we bought it.
We were at the thrift store and saw chairs with padded seat and back and wood arms. They were 4.00 each. So we made the big purchase without knowing if they would even work.
We tried two and it was a no go. It made it too hard to get access to the table and the pantry behind.
We did end up using one of the armed chairs and it made a big difference in our comfort.
Our big investment paid off.
