"Corps of Engineers" Camgrounds? What's that?

COE campgrounds are our first preference when looking for a campground. Some are nicer than others but we have never stayed at a bad one!

We are heading back to Seven Points near Nashville in July!

I thought that was such a deal I got one for the wife and myself just in case one of us wanted to camp and the otherperson wasn't available..

We have one near us that we like for short weekend getaways. Very nice park.

Agreed - they are nice. We rate them typically between private campgrounds (not our favorite) and most State Park campgrounds (definitely our preference). Not so much a parking lot as most private ones we've seen and not as spread out and treed as most start parks.

And, if you are old enough(or disabled), you can stay for half price!!

You can search on www.recreation.gov and reserve by campsite and look at a map, too.
