Thanks for all of the replies. The question was not about which is better, but solely how do they compare in cost. The last reply from Bobbo caught my attention. He says a 5er and truck cost about the same as an MH. But he chose a Class C. I've looked at Class Cs and the biggest Class C I find have significantly less space than a comparably priced 5er and truck. There are Super Cs with about the same space, but they cost much more. I still believe comparable 5er and truck is about 80% the cost of a MH and since the truck would be my only vehicle the toad cost is an added minus for the MH.
