Thanks for the advice. I have been thinking about all the aspects of the decision, but on this thread I was just trying to confirm what I suspect about the cost difference based on looking at many models online. I think a trailer will work better for me not only for the cost but because as someone mentioned in this thread I wouldn't want to unhook and hookup again every time we need to make a trip to the store. That means adding a toad and then the cost goes further in favor of the trailer (unless you're going to have an extra car anyway - I won't). Plus with a toad the convenience of doing everything in just the MH is gone; you've added hooking/un-hooking to the MH process, too. I like the idea of being able to walk back to the fridge or the toilet so easily in a MH, but I'm still healthy and I'm not so lazy that I can't pull off the highway and walk around to the trailer once in a while. And we are empty-nesters so we don't have kids to factor into the choice.
