This is a great starting thread for me.
I want to buy some mobile accommodation for my yearly visits to Canada from the UK.
It's just possible that we will want to travel to different locations, but mainly we will be on one fixed site.
I can't drive due to sight problems and my wife doesn't want to drive, so whatever we decide on is going to sometimes involve a 3rd party driver or tow-er.
All these factors seem to point to choosing a travel trailer, rather than a motorhome, especially as we'll be buying at the lower end of the used market, which increases the possibility of engine, transmission and other problems in an older motorhome.
It seems from this thread that an important consideration is that the facilities and storage in a travel trailer are often substantially less than those in a motorhome, so this is the factor that most concerns me at this stage of the decision making process.
Any advice on this would be most appreciated.
Kind regards,
Mike
