A MH can have some pretty expensive maintenance/repair costs compared to a TT. I read on the FR forum once about defective hydraulic hoses from the factory that sprung leaks on some brands/models of MHs. Then there was a guy that suddenly saw pavement at his feet while driving down a freeway. Turned out the factory had used only a few undersized bolts to connect the superstructure to the frame. Maintenance and unexpected high repair costs would scare the heck out of me and would be my top reason for staying with a TT.
We got talking about RV-ing at a garden party next door a few years ago. One couple who had a MH said about our TT, don't worry, when you get older "you will have a MH". Huh...
