I think a lot of non-socializers are RVing/camping to get away from the pressures of the work week, etc. They want some quiet down time. Some might have driven long days and just want to relax by themselves. Some just want to absorb nature around them. Everyone is different and I don't think most are antisocial. They just want to de-stress.
To a certain extent we agree. I'm a retired teacher and Mrs. C. retires at the end of this year. Any time we go camping we try to avoid pools, playgrounds and other kids activity locations. Obviously we don't dislike them but we do enjoy the quiet time. As we said earlier we have no issued with meeting and chatting with adults. Before we ever thought seriously about taking our kids and grandkids with us they had to know and follow the campground rules for proper behavior.
