We use DISH in our motorhome and at our Adirondack cottage. Besides no contract needed, we like the easy locals changes using the DISH online chat system as we travel around. We use a triple satellite dish, one on a tripod mount for the motorhome, and a permanently installed dish at the cottage. We have Hopper and Joey receivers for both setups, all on one account. I recommend a Winegard Pathway X2 for an automatic portable dish to use with the VIP/Wally receivers over the Tailgater, but the Tailgater may satisfy your needs. The X2 is capable of receiving both the three DISH eastern arc and three western arc satellites, giving you better aiming options in heavily treed areas. The X2 also lets you receive the east coast local channels that are only available on the eastern arc sats and the larger dish is less subject to rain fade than the Tailgater.
As others have mentioned, we use cell based hotspots for our Internet service.
