We never had an issue either. A lot of folks pack china and wine glasses for the good life. I won't go that far but the only thing I ever broke was a coffee pot. We have a counter mounted one and to keep it in place I either keep it in the sink or strap it in with a bungee cord, Forgot, and drove probably 20 miles and when we stopped, it didn't.
