We travel down some really rough dirt roads when we go boondocking and we've never broken a dish. Just be careful when you open the cabinets after a rough ride. Same here and none broken in over 35 years. On the shifting be EXTRA, EXTRA careful opening the bath medicine cabinet and I would highly recommend having the toilet lid closed when you do. Those cabinets are narrow to start with and stuff tends to move against the door and your need a catcher's mitt to catch all the stuff that might fall out. For glasses and items such as that we put them in a cardboard six pack holder that is left in the cabinet. It not only protects them from dancing around, but you can pull the entire holder out to get whatever glasses, etc. you want.
