For those narrow shelves, go to WalMart and get small narrow drawer organizers like for silverware. They come in all lengths. Line them up to fit the shelf. Then put all your medicines, etc. into them. When you open the door, nothing falls out. However, we still put the toilet seat down, just in case. :)
